A major media campaign for Carlsberg is starting in Switzerland.
The Feldschlösschen Beverages Group has thrown all its energy into the launching of Carlsberg Beer since it became a member of the Carlsberg Breweries Group last year. The first experiences and positive sales figures show that Carlsberg has been well received among Swiss consumers and is enjoying a growing popularity. Around 900 bars and restaurants in the country are selling Carlsberg. From the middle of September the global premium brand, which is sold in more than 130 countries will be presented via the Swiss media for the first time. The campaign includes the important elements that have helped Carlsberg to international success. Under the slogan “Probably the best beer in the world”, the Carlsberg brand celebrates its premiere in Switzerland with a print and poster campaign. “The wonderful pictures show in an effective way Carlsberg’s internationality and attractiveness“ says Urs Keiser, Feldschlösschen’s marketing director. The campaign will be supported with promotion activities in the restaurant sector together with sponsoring of the skiing World Cup. Since March, Carlsberg has been delivered from Denmark in rail tankers which are then put into kegs and bottles in Feldschlösschen’s brewery in Rheinfelden. Before the end of the year the brewery will be brewing Carlsberg itself.
