Thurella Ltd. will definitively acquire the Eglisau bottling operations for non-alcoholic beverages currently belonging to Feldschlösschen Beverages Ltd. The shareholders of Thurella Ltd. gave their clear approval of the purchase in an extraordinary general shareholders' meeting held on August 12, 2003. Following this step, Thurella Ltd. will take over the Eglisau bottling operations and its ca. 110 employees, on January 1, 2004. The new Thurella Eglisau Ltd. will be a wholly-owned subsidiary of Thurella Ltd. As from 2004, Thurella will bottle its own brands obi and Rittergold in Eglisau. In the context of its expanding business activities in the area of semi-finished goods production, Thurella is planning to make investments to upgrade the Eglisau facility. In addition, the soft drink brands Schweppes and Lipton Ice Tea will continue to be bottled for Feldschlösschen Beverages Ltd. in Eglisau, as previously.
