«Warteck 1856»: The Anniversary Beer 

The first Warteck beer was brewed in 1856 in Switzerland’s second largest city, Basel. And since 150 years, Warteck has been Basel’s favourite beer brand. To celebrate the anniversary, Warteck is launching a new beer: “Warteck 1856” is tender yellow in colour and is characterized by its mild taste with a slight note of honey and elder. The anniversary beer has an alcohol content of 5% and comes in a trendy 33 cl longneck bottle. It will be available in restaurants and bars in Basel and surroundings as from the end of February. Since 1989 the Warteck beer brand belongs to Feldschlösschen Beverages Ltd.
